Lead College is seeking energetic, motivated, confident Course coordinator who will be responsible for managing and delivery of Diploma in Community Services.
As the Course Coordinator, you will be able to deliver proficient and operative academic services in the College. You will operate within a team framework and provide high level client-focused academic and student administration support to the College’s programs. The role has a strong customer service orientation and you will work closely with academic and professional staff.
Key role and responsibilities:
The position is responsible for ensuring:
· Contract and staff trainers are supported and managed so as to ensure high-quality
delivery of CHC courses and compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks
· Training delivery and assessment for CHC courses are undertaken in accordance with the
College’s policies and procedures and with the relevant regulatory frameworks
· Delivery of CHC courses are managed in consultation with National Program Manager so
as to ensure smooth running, including ensuring classrooms and other resources are
obtained and scheduled appropriately
· Maintaining relationships with relevant industry bodies and persons, to ensure work
placements are available for students and to inform training and assessment strategies
and practices.
· Maintaining Trainer files and industry experience
Necessary Qualifications:
Qualifications and industry experience in accordance with the trainer & assessor
requirements of the Standards for RTOs
2. Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a high-performing team within the
vocational education sector, particularly where that team is geographically dispersed
3. High level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to manage conflict
and influence positive outcomes
4. Proficiency in the MS Office suite, particularly Word and Excel in addition to proficiency in
or the ability to quickly gain proficiency in a learning/student management system.
5. Understanding of CWA guidelines
6. Min of a Diploma of Community Services Work or equivalent
7. Relevant Community Services Industry experience for over 3 years post qualification
8. Hold Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
9. Must have full working rights within Australia
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated understanding of and experience in working with the NVR Act and
associated regulatory framework, as relevant to this role
2. Demonstrated understanding of and experience in working with the ESOS Act and
associated regulatory framework, as relevant to this role.
