Senior Estimator

We are based in Laverton North, Melbourne, and are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quantification and costing of Construction & Landscape Projects.
• Quantity take-off and preparing bills of quantities.
• Prepare estimates, quantities, prices, costing for projects.
• Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Regularly communicate with clients to develop and negotiate clear project scopes and documentation.
• Successfully support estimating and tender processes in a proactive and diligent manner.
• Conduct site inspections with Project Managers to assess work requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and profitability

Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience in Construction Industry - minimum 5 years!
• Production Estimating experience is essential
• Proven experience in estimating within medium-density, residential, or commercial landscaping/construction; experience with Childcare Playscape projects is a significant advantage
• Tertiary Education is required for this role
• Proficiency with estimation software, including Buildxact, Bluebeam and Excel.
• High computer literacy and strong mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with effective time management.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects with precision
• A collaborative mindset, thriving in a fast-paced, high-achieving team environment:
• A current Australian Driver’s License.
• Working with Children Check.
• Must be authorised to work in Australia.
