About the Role
As a member of our Insurance Services team in our East Brisbane office (4169), reporting to the Customer Service Team Lead, Insurance Services, you are responsible for providing administrative support to our Insurance team. This Division carries out insurance works, minor capital works, and facilities maintenance.
What you'll be doing
- Liaise with insured owners and insurance companies
- Liaise with Suppliers, Subcontractors and our internal team of Supervisors, Estimators and Trades
- Complete administrative duties involved with the insurance claim, including: data entry, booking appointments, organising contracts and relevant paperwork, submitting quotes and responding to customer queries
- Support and assist Supervisors with administrative duties as required
- Inbound and outbound calls to Stakeholders
Skills and experience
- Positive attitude and a team player
- High level of customer service
- Highly computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- An ability and willingness to quickly learn new software/systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a professional phone manner
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in the building industry and/or insurance industry will be highly advantageous
