Job tasks and responsibilities

The role includes attending to emails and calls from existing clients and entering orders, advising on availability, pricing, and expediting are just some of the tasks.

This part of the business is the hub of the operation and as a result you will learn much about the operation of the business in this role. Some of our team members have been in the role for over ten years. Average tenures in this department are high and we have relatively low turnover of team members.

Responsibilities of this role are ensuring high customer service levels and reverting to customers quickly with accurate answers.

In addition to your duties in the Contact Centre at Fortitude Valley, you may also be required to assist once per month in the Retail Shop located at the same office.

Skills and experience

Key skills required are previous contact centre experience, ability to pick up quickly on the in-house computer programs, knowledge of the MS Word Suite, including Excel.
