About the Role

Atomic Projects is seeking a skilled and experienced Leading Hand to join our high-performing remedial construction team. In this role, you’ll be working hands-on while leading a small crew across residential and strata projects in Sydney. You’ll play a key part in delivering quality work, coordinating trades, and keeping the site running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

Interpret plans and scopes, allocate tasks, and guide the team

Supervise and coordinate on-site works with your crew and subcontractors

Liaise with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and stakeholders

Monitor and report on progress, quality, and productivity

Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety checks

Troubleshoot issues and help maintain timelines and standards

Get hands-on with remedial tasks where required (tools provided)

Maintain site tidiness, deliveries, and material use

Support continuous improvement and lead by example

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Leading Hand or Foreperson in construction

Experience in remedial building is preferred

Trade background (preferably carpentry, bricklaying, concrete repair or waterproofing)

Cert IV in Building & Construction (preferred)

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Can read plans, scopes, and data sheets

Safety-focused with the ability to run toolbox talks

White Card and full Australian working rights

Driver’s licence required; vehicle provided
