Leading Hand / Junior Foreman - Northern Beaches - $5m + Luxury Homes

Are you a skilled and motivated Carpenter / Leading Hand Carpenter looking to elevate your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for you to step into a Leading Hand / Junior Foreman role.

A multiple award winning architecturally designed home builder based on the Northern Beaches has a number of projects in the area. They now require a Leading Hand to work across a multi million dollar project. You will work closely with the Site Manager to develop and upskill with future progression into running your own sites.

Responsibilities:

• Help manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site along with the Site Manager
• Ensure that all work is carried out safely, within budget and to a high standard
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the project runs smoothly
• Help manage and coordinate subcontractors
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that all workers comply with health and safety regulations
• Monitor progress

Requirements:

• At least 2 years' experience in a Carpenter / Leading Hand
• Ideally experience working on concrete / heavy structured homes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Eagerness to learn and develop
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of construction laws and regulations
