This Sydney based licensee is growing and offers a long-term opportunity to someone who thrives on formulating financial planning strategies for clients but no longer wants to be a paraplanner. One of the most nimble, innovative and agile licensees around, all decisions are made where the client’s best interests are front and centre. They are passionate about building a strong community of advisers and are currently on a solid growth trajectory.

The Role

• Responsible for assisting the Senior Advisers within the licensee with the proactive development of a variety of strategies to suit their client’s needs.
• This includes ongoing liaison with the adviser, researching and modelling the best options and then outlining to the paraplanning team and ensuring that an appropriate and compliant SOA is delivered
• Develop and manage internal relationships with the Advisers and the paraplanning and compliance teams to ensure that workflow moves smoothly and efficiently
• Train and develop paraplanners to formulate and prepare Statements of Advice (SOA) documents across a wide range of financial strategies

About you:

• Significant experience in an adviser or a senior paraplanning position
• Naturally passionate about strategy and you will be up to date on the industry and also regulatory requirements
• Solid communication skills to be able to liaise in a confident manner with advisers when it comes to strategy
• Have a solid understanding of tax, superannuation, retirement income streams, investments and financial products
• Be genuinely passionate and interested in coming up with the best strategy for the clients
• Enjoy working as part of a team with the ability to use initiative and judgement in problem solving situations
