Valley Hops Brewery is situated on the Rooftop of Cloudland in Fortitude Valley boosting the most impressive rooftop brewery in the world

We are looking for a fantastic and energetic Bar Manager to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone to join one of Brisbane’s best brewery and rooftop bar.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will be accountable for driving and delivering excellence in customer service at all times, whilst developing the team around you.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist the venue manager In the day-to-day management of the venues

Supervise and train both current and new staff, helping develop their knowledge and giving incredible customer service

Contribute to the overall venues quality of service

Work alongside our Group Beverage Director and Brewers in developing and launching seasonal menus

Assist management in opening and closing of the venue

Available for a roster consisting of a mix of days, evenings and mid shifts across all days of the week.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 1-2 years experience in a similar role and:

Strong beer and cocktail knowledge

Customer first focus

Strong leadership skills

Strong attention to detail

Previous bar management experience

Exemplary personal presentation and hygiene

Exceptional time management skills

Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse team
