The Role
We are offering an opportunity to work with and be mentored by our experienced Chef & Charcutier to learn unique techniques with high-quality value-added produce within our professional and inclusive Team.
Your day to day will involve:
- Assist the Chef & Charcutier with the day to day running of the production kitchen.
- Prepare and cook as per recipes to the highest standard.
- Upholding strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Willing to learn and work within different sections of the business.
About you:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Demi Chef or Chef De Partie
- Tertiary education or culinary qualifications (cert 3 in hospitality minimum)
- Strong Knife skills and attention to details.
- Knowledge around different cuisines and techniques.
- A desire to learn and grow
- A can-do attitude
- Willingness to learn and be coached for success.
