Design and Construct Project Manager
Location: Yagoona, NSW (Full-Time, Office-Based)

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our Yagoona office on a full-time basis. This role requires frequent travel to remote locations, managing residential construction projects from inception through to completion. You will play a critical part in delivering projects that positively impact local communities, combining technical excellence with cultural sensitivity. You will be supported by an Assistant Project Manager and a Site Manager whom you will oversee and mentor.
Key Responsibilities:
Successfully manage residential design and construction projects valued between $1m to $10m.
Oversee projects from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, budgets, and safety guidelines.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and community representatives.
Prepare, control, and monitor project budgets, providing regular updates and cost management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
Lead and mentor the Assistant Project Manager and Site Manager.
Demonstrate professionalism, excellent communication, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in project management of residential construction projects.
Degree qualification in Construction Management or related discipline.
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence subcontractors and stakeholders positively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
Experience working in remote locations or within Indigenous communities is advantageous but not mandatory.
