⚙️ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple refurbishment projects, with a strong focus on aged care and retirement living facilities. This role involves managing capital expenditure (CAPEX) programs to ensure the successful planning, renovation, and restructuring of aged care and retirement properties, as well as retail fit-outs across Sydney Metro region.

Project Manager – Refurbishment

Full-Time | Permanent | Hybrid Work (Site & Home)

Location: Projects across Sydney, Central Coast, Maitland & South Coast

Direct Reports: Site Supervisors, Tradespeople, and Subcontractors

🔧KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage refurbishment projects from inception to completion.

Oversee project resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates.

Supervise and coordinate site supervisors, tradespeople, and subcontractors.

Prepare project quotes using estimating software such as Cubit.

Create and manage project plans using MS Project.

Review project scope, schedule deliverables, and estimate costs.

Manage all onsite and offsite construction activities, ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying and securing future work opportunities.

Lead and motivate project teams, including supervisors and subcontractors, ensuring effective programme management.

Manage project schedules, financials, risks, and work health and safety (WHS) on-site.

✅REQUIREMENTS

Degree or Diploma in Construction Project Management.

Experience in refurbishment projects, particularly in aged care and retirement living.

Proficiency in MS Project and estimating tools like Cubit.

Strong ability to prepare and manage quotes for new work.

Background as a tradesperson or possession of a builder’s licence (preferred).

Proficiency in using MS Projects, Pronto, Procore, Rapid Induct, Cubit, SharePoint software for job management.

Valid driver’s license and valid working rights in Australia

Ability to obtain police clearance
