About Us

Sazerac AU/NZ, the leading independent distributor of premium spirits in Australia, is searching for a National Brand Ambassador to represent American Beverage Marketers (ABM) the world’s largest and most influential cocktail mixer company.

ABM is synonymous with premium cocktail culture, crafting high-quality mixers that elevate drinks in the best bars, restaurants, and retailers worldwide. As we continue expanding in Australia, we need a dynamic, charismatic, and knowledgeable professional to help drive our brand’s success.

The Role

Based in Brisbane or Sydney.

As the National Brand Ambassador, you’ll be the face of our brand across Australia, engaging with bartenders, hospitality professionals, and independent retailers. Your mission? To educate, inspire, and create demand for our premium mixers by executing impactful training sessions, activations, and marketing initiatives.

You’ll collaborate with sales teams, trade partners, and brand owners to bring creative brand campaigns to life, ensuring ABM remains at the forefront of the cocktail industry.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Training & Advocacy: Conduct engaging product training sessions for bartenders, hospitality staff, and retail partners. Elevate the knowledge and enthusiasm for our brands.

Trade Activations & Events: Plan and execute industry-leading events, tastings, and brand activations to increase visibility and sales.

Sales & Brand Support: Work closely with the national sales team, providing up-to-date brand information, tools, and strategies to drive distribution and rate of sale.

Market Insights: Identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in the market to inform brand strategy.

Marketing Execution: Implement trade marketing campaigns, create compelling POS materials, and ensure a strong presence in key venues and retailers.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key industry professionals, acting as the bridge between internal teams, trade partners, and brand owners.

Reporting & Analysis: Track campaign performance, provide insights, and optimize strategies for continued growth.

Budget Management: Oversee brand activation budgets, ensuring cost-effective and impactful campaigns.

Who You Are

Passionate about the cocktail industry and eager to educate others.

A natural storyteller with exceptional presentation and communication skills.

Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated.

Experienced ideally, 2+ years in a brand ambassador, marketing, or trade marketing role within the alcohol industry.

Commercially savvy, with an understanding of both on-premise (bars, restaurants, hotels) and off-premise (retail, independent liquor stores) landscapes.

Creative and energetic, always looking for ways to elevate the brand and engage the industry.

Able to travel this role will involve domestic travel to support key markets.
