Project Manager – Construction
Location: Port Melbourne
Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 salary package

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a highly regarded leader in the high-end residential and commercial construction sector. Our client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a variety of projects valued up to $25 million. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional looking to further their career in project management.
About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of high-end residential and commercial building projects. This includes managing timelines, budgets, quality standards, and client relationships. The role is ideal for a Contracts Administrator or Assistant Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, who is eager to progress into Project Management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage residential projects from start to finish
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, and suppliers
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Manage and mentor the project team
• Conduct site inspections and maintain safety standards
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Oversee project documentation and reporting

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, with a focus on high-end residential, apartment or general commercial projects in particular local government or education

• Experience as a Contracts Administrator or Assistant Project Manager, with the desire to step into a Project Management role
• Strong understanding of construction processes, budgeting, and stakeholder management
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proven experience managing projects up to $10 million in value
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems efficiently
• High attention to detail and quality

• Must be willing to undergo a medical and drug & alcohol test prior to employment
