Tom Leyden's Tyre & Mechanical are part of the Robo's Group. We are a locally owned family group of Businesses that have been in the Automotive industry now for over 30 years servicing the local community of Rockhampton, Gracemere & surrounds.

We comprise of the following Businesses = Tom Leyden Tyre & Mechanical, Robo's Tyreworks, Robo's Motorworks, Fulcrum Rockhampton/Active Gear & CQ manual Gearbox.

Tom Leyden's is a small Tyre & Mechanical Business located on O'shanessy street in Gracemere, with a real focus on providing quality products and exceptional service to our local customers.

Qualifications & experience

Experience in the Automotive industry.

Hold a current Drivers License.

Competent in basic computer skills.

Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.

Tasks & responsibilities

Liaise with your sales team to correctly price & deliver tyre & mechanical quotes in a timely fashion .

Learn & operate any computer programmes required to carry out bookings & quotes.

Lead your team to achieve a high level of work efficiency whilst continuing to improve team moral.

Constantly look at improving work practices to help contribute to better operational efficiency.

Ensure all work practices, especially OHS is carried out to the companies Policies & Procedures.

Manage the flow & quality of tyre & mechanical jobs throughout the day to contribute to customer's satisfaction.

Achieve revenue goals.

Benefits

Standard week of 38 hours with 2 hours overtime available each week plus any Saturdays required to work are paid at time & a half.

20 minute smoko break plus 1 hour lunchbreak each day Monday to Friday.
