Known for their commitment to performance, style, and comfort, our client is set to bring their premium sportswear to the Australian market, and they're looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager to help launch their brand in Sydney.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new venture and grow with a brand that's passionate about empowering active lifestyles.

As the Retail Store Manager, you will be at the heart of this new store, leading a small team of up to 4 individuals. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales while building a positive, performance-driven culture within the team. You'll work closely with the leadership team to set standards, manage inventory, and create a seamless connection between the store and the brand's online presence through platforms like Shopify.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Lead and motivate a small team to ensure a positive and high-performing store environment.
• 
  Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, sales, customer service, and visual merchandising.
• 
  Provide a premium customer experience that reflects the brand's commitment to quality and performance.
• 
  Engage customers with your passion for fitness and athleisure, driving sales through product knowledge and excellent service.
• 
  Manage inventory and order fulfilment using Shopify or a similar eCommerce platform, ensuring smooth online-to-offline transitions.
• 
  Monitor and achieve store KPIs, including sales targets, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• 
  Work with the marketing team to support local campaigns, promotions, and events to drive traffic and awareness.

Ideal Candidate:

• 
  A passion for sports, running, fitness, and athleisure - an understanding of the active lifestyle is essential.
• 
  Proven experience in retail management, preferably in fashion, sportswear, or athleisure.
• 
  Experience leading and managing a small team, ensuring motivation and high performance.
• 
  Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify and the ability to manage inventory and process online orders.
• 
  Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• 
  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining high standards of service.
• 
  Energetic, positive, and approachable with a strong work ethic.
