Workfast is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for a shutdown project at Bengalla Mine in Muswellbrook. This is a great opportunity to join a skilled team on a large-scale dragline shutdown with competitive rates and solid site conditions.

Location: Bengalla Mine, Muswellbrook

Start Date: 14th April
Duration: 38 Days
Roster: 4/4/4
Pay Rate: $58.73 p/hr + OT and Super

What You Need:

• Confined Space (Level 2)
• Working at Heights (WAH)
• Overhead Gantry Crane
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP)

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
• Current Order 43 medical - MUST
• Experience working in mine shutdowns or heavy industry
• Must be able to commit to the full shutdown
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and mine site regulations
• The following tickets/training are highly desirable:
  

What You Will Be Doing:

• Performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on dragline equipment
• Working alongside a team to ensure shutdown deadlines are met
• Installing, dismantling, and servicing mechanical components
• Following mine safety protocols and ensuring compliance with WHS regulations
• Using power tools, lifting equipment, and gantry cranes as required
