About the Role:
Synaco Global is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team in Adelaide's CBD. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent, offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

Process weekly and fortnightly payroll for a variety of clients and internal staff

Ensure all payroll transactions are accurate and in compliance with relevant legislation

Maintain employee records and resolve payroll discrepancies in collaboration with recruitment team

Assist in tax and superannuation contributions

Respond to payroll inquiries and provide excellent customer service to employees

Support the finance team with reporting and reconciliation tasks as required

• Calculates wages , bonuses, deductions and handles time sheet data
• Assists with payroll reports and invoicing clients

To Be Successful You Will Have:

Proven experience in a payroll officer role

Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and award systems

• Demonstrated good time management
• Assist with benefit administration eg employee Super, health insurance and deductions

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Must have full working rights in Australia

• Assist with new starters and staff leaving the business
