T+O+M Recruitment is working exclusively with a tech-driven Managed Services group to hire an exciting Head of Finance & Operations position.

Eastern Suburbs based - 5 days in the office is required, with flexibility

$220k - $250k including super

Hands on position and opportunity to work closely with the CEO

Responsibilities:

Finance & Governance:

Oversee financial management, invoicing, reporting, and budgeting

Improve management reporting on billable hours, strategy, and capital investment

Lead the finance team (assistant accountant, bookkeeper, outsourced support)

Ensure governance, compliance, and security clearance adherence

Operations & Technology:

Manage the tech platforms, including rostering and operational tools

Drive workflow efficiency and process improvements

Support expansion into other market locations

Enhance operational effectiveness with the leadership team

Commercial & Strategic Growth:

Develop financial strategies for sustainable growth

Provide insights on pricing, resource allocation, and profitability

Align financial and operational planning with leadership

About You:

Qualified CA or CPA with 10+ years’ experience in finance and operations, ideally within a business services or technology-driven environment.

Strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record in financial management, budgeting, and operational oversight.

Tech-savvy, comfortable overseeing operational technology platforms.

Experience in service-based revenue models would be advantageous.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a non-corporate, diverse culture.
