The Role

We’re hiring a Head of Finance who’s ready to evolve into CFO within 6–12 months. You'll own financial operations, capital tracking, investor reporting, and — most importantly — help us build the smartest, cleanest, most automated finance stack in the construction industry.

You'll work closely with our CEO, automation architect, and fractional advisors, with full runway to innovate and lead.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations (Xero, BAS, STP, payroll, super)

Build and maintain capital tracking, use-of-funds reports, burn dashboards

Lead rollout of cutting edge software, and automation workflows (alongside our AI/Automations Architect)

Design forecasting, investor dashboards, and real-time cashflow insights

Own margin reporting, team-level tracking, and monthly financial close

Run internal + investor financial reporting rhythms

Liaise with banks, ATO, advisors, and internal leadership

Build scalable finance systems to support hypergrowth

What We’re Looking For

5–10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or controller-level roles

Solid Xero + compliance knowledge (BAS, STP, payroll, super)

Strong forecasting + modelling skills (Excel, Sheets, Runway preferred)

Proven experience improving or automating finance systems

Passion for data clarity, clean design, and real-time dashboards

Bonus: experience in construction, SaaS ops, or growth-stage businesses

Bonus: exposure to new AI tech platforms

Compensation

Base salary: $100K–$140K AUD (based on experience)

Performance bonus linked to capital control + reporting success
