The Company

Our client is a highly successful property organisation with a 100 year rich history of business. With over 1000 offices internationally, they are continuing to aspire to grow. Due to recent movement in the finance team, they are looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to be based in their head office in Brisbane's CBD.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager this broad role will look after the accounting for the assigned divisions. Key responsibilities include:

• Cashflow management
• Financial and management reporting including analysis and commentary
• Preparing end of month journals, accruals and prepayments
• Review of BAS, GST and compliance
• Analysis of revenue, KPI's, sales
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Adhoc requests for financial information and reports from senior leaders

The Person

With a background in a similar role, the successful candidate with also possess:

• CA/CPA qualification
• Experience in either a commercial or chartered and commercial environment
• Strong excel skills and experience with systems
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• High level communication and relationship building skills with the ability to engage with the business
• Strong commercial acumen
• The drive to succeed, add value and eagerness to learn
