Our client is a growing ASX Listed business, employing over 1000 people across Australia and New Zealand. Due to growth, they are now looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their team. Reporting to a dynamic and mentoring CFO, you will have responsibility for direct tax, corporate consolidation and financial reporting. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Calculate and post monthly intercompany and intercompany consolidation entries.
• Maintain and review the corporate P&L and ensure correct allocation of assets and liabilities.
• Manage lease accounting (AASB 16), hedge accounting (AASB 9), and share-based payments (AASB 2).
• Consolidate tax and fixed asset registers across business units.
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial reports and interim/annual financial statements.
• Lead preparation of half yearly and yearly reports.
• Calculate monthly income tax provisions and maintain deferred tax accounts.
• Prepare annual income tax returns for external review.
• Review and lodge BAS, payroll tax returns, and workers' compensation declarations.
• Supporting tax planning and compliance
• Conduct internal audits as required.
• Supporting the planning and coordination of external Audits
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and financial regulations.

Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified, Big 4 background with strong technical expertise in corporate accounting and tax, experience in an ASX listed company is highly desirable, high proficiency in AASB standards, financial reporting, and tax compliance. You will be detail oriented and be happy to be hands on.
