The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join their high-performing team as a Business Development Manager. This pivotal role offers a unique blend of strategic business development and dedicated account management. The successful candidate will be empowered to:
Identify, target, and secure new clients across key sectors, presenting their value proposition and tailoring solutions to their specific needs. This involves proactive market research, networking, and developing compelling proposals.
Serve as a trusted advisor to their valued existing clients, understanding their evolving requirements, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and ensuring their continued satisfaction.
Take ownership of achieving and exceeding sales targets through a balanced approach of new client wins and strategic account development.
Work closely with their engineering and technical teams to develop and present compelling solutions, leveraging their expertise to address client challenges effectively.
Provide valuable market feedback and insights to inform their product development and overall business strategy.
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role within a technical or industrial environment.
Demonstrated ability to both generate new business opportunities and effectively manage and grow existing client relationships.
Strong understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to successful closure and ongoing account management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and articulate the value proposition of technical solutions.
Highly advantageous: Engineering qualifications (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental) or a strong technical aptitude with experience in filtration or water treatment technologies.
Salary Expectations:
$100k - $130k + Super + Car Allowance + Commission
