About the role
Join the dynamic and supportive team at AbilitiesNQ as a Receptionist in our Cairns office. This full-time role will see you providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our clients and staff. Based in our Cairns office, you'll be an integral part of our growing organisation, ensuring a warm and professional welcome to all who interact with us in phone and in person.
What you'll be doing
Greet and welcome all visitors, clients and staff in a friendly and professional manner
Manage the front desk and phone enquiries, responding to queries and directing calls as needed
Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, photocopying
Assist with the coordination of meetings, events and other organisational activities
Maintain a professional and organized office
Provide general administrative support as required
Contribute to a positive team culture and work collaboratively with colleagues
Maintain security by following company procedures and controlling access to the office.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders
Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Proficient in using standard office software such as Microsoft Office suite
A genuine interest in supporting people with disabilities and making a positive difference in the community
About you
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a receptionist or customer service role is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office equipment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment.
Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a strong commitment to inclusivity
Have or willing to obtain- NDIS Screening Clearance and Paid Blue Card
Have a drivers licence and own reliable transport
