Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a talented Plumbing Estimator/Project Coordinator to join our expanding plumbing operations team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, accurately estimating projects, and assisting in the project management of contracts. This role has been created due to the growth of our company and offers a dynamic opportunity to become a key part of a growing team.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with previous experience in the plumbing trade. This role is perfect for someone with prior experience in similar plumbing operations positions or for the right candidate with experience in the plumbing construction industry along with a basic understanding of computer systems and scheduling software.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to produce accurate cost estimates for both residential and commercial plumbing projects. A focus on time management and a pragmatic, level-headed approach is essential, with a keen eye for opportunities and small wins.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

Design suitable Plumbing hydraulic plans using Bluebeam software.

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and onsite staff to schedule project bookings in a timely manner.

Meet with clients and team members to discuss projects, secure contracts, and ensure alignment on project expectations.

Prepare accurate materials lists and orders for projects.

Manage cost variations and approvals.

Control project finances and budgets, including interim progress payment claims.

ABOUT YOU

Relevant plumbing trade qualification.

Proven experience in Residential & Commercial plumbing/construction.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.

Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.

Project management experience including planning, organizing, resource management, budgeting, and scheduling (preferable).

Experience with Bluebeam & BEAMS or similar software (preferable).

Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Office.

An understanding of scheduling/planning, invoice management, and basic financial flows.

Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box
