About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Reporting Analyst (APS5) for a Full-time Non-Ongoing position which will start as soon as possible and run for 12 months. This position will be key in supporting the Data Operations and Analytics section to improve our products and business decisions by making the most out of our data. The Reporting Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and presenting data to support decision-making processes and drive business performance. You will work with stakeholders to understand their needs and tailor data extracts, reports, and analysis to different audiences. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You should have a strong problem-solving ability, a knack for statistical analysis, and a focus on data governance and security.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Reporting Analyst or similar role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Require exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate effectively and tailor messages to diverse audiences
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience in the digital health or public sector is desirable.

Notes
: Order of Merit: Applicants rated as suitable will be placed in a merit pool that may be used to fill similar ongoing or non-ongoing positions throughout the Agency for up to 18 months.

Eligibility

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
  • Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
