Our Client, a large Federal Government Department is seeking to engage an ICT Commercial Manager to lead Contract and Vendor Management outcomes for one or more major ICT Services contracts across the Department's Multi-vendor environment. As part of this role, the successful applicant will need to advise the Department on best practice contract management and provide commercial advice related to their contracts to Departmental stakeholders and executives.

The ICT Commercial Manager will be required to:

• Show commitment to continuous improvement, delivers on agreed outcomes and exercises sound judgement in all aspects of work;
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Have ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships within the Department.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the end to end strategic and operational contract and vendor management of major outsourced ICT contracts within the Department's multi-vendor environment. This includes establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and supplier stakeholders, overseeing contract governance, deliverable management, invoicing, contract variations and requests for additional services.

Essential criteria

• Demonstrated experience managing large outsourced ICT contracts in a multi-vendor environment;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and external suppliers;
• Strong negotiation skills with proven experience resolving complex commercial disputes;
• Proven expertise and/or experience in identifying and reducing procurement risks, probity, evaluation, and contract management are required.
