The Opportunity
A well-regarded provider of personalised in-home care services is seeking a skilled and people-focused HR Business Partner to help shape and lead HR initiatives across the organisation.
This newly created, part-time role blends strategic and operational HR responsibilities, working closely with leadership, and managing one direct report.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with managers to provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices
- Setting and implementing KPIs within recruitment to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Overseeing talent acquisition and onboarding to attract and retain top-tier professionals
- Driving HR policies, compliance, and workforce planning to support organisational needs
- Leading culture and engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace
- Ensuring HR processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with best practice
- Supporting and overseeing HR and payroll systems, ensuring seamless integration and compliance
Key Selection Criteria
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar HR role, with a sound understanding of employment law and HR compliance
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- A warm, inclusive, and energetic personality, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation
- The ability to be present in the office to foster connections, provide hands-on support, and enhance team engagement
- Experience advising managers, driving HR initiatives, and managing recruitment end-to-end
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
- Understanding of industry awards (e.g. SCHADS Award) and experience interpreting and applying workplace agreements
- Familiarity with HR and payroll systems, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
- Knowledge of the health sector is advantageous, though not essential
