About the role
Provide high level clinical and managerial leadership for the senior dental assistants at the Oral Health Centre. Contributory responsibility for mandatory training, infection control and sterilisation standards and practises for all dental assistants at the Oral Health Centre.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- The position works closely with the Clinical Executive Team and Operations Management Team, to provide relevant advice and assistance with strategies for performance improvement, implementation of policy initiatives, education and training, service delivery and development for strategic matters concerning dental assisting services.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Executive Team in overseeing the implementation and monitoring of dental assisting practices within the assigned Oral Health Service area in line with client focussed care, best practice and total quality service.
- Provide strategic assistance and advice to staff for the organisation and delivery of identified training requirements and with follow up auditing and monitoring processes.
