At Queensland Country Health we have a friendly and supportive work environment where we provide high quality preventative dental and general dental services from our dental practice in Townsville.

As a Qualified Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high quality chair side and surgery support, be experienced in instrument reprocessing and infection control and be well-versed in establishing long-term patient relationships.

Your Experience

• A Certificate III in Dental Assisting or progress towards
• Experience as a Dental Assistant in a private practice (desirable)
• Knowledge and experience in instrument reprocessing procedures including instrument tracking and documentation requirements
• Knowledge and understanding of current infection control standards
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and patient focus
• The ability to work well in a team environment
