Due to our growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Team Assistant to join the tax team.

Key Accountabilities

Open, sort and distribute mail to team including organising couriers when required

Maintain filing systems both electronically and paper based

Collate documents electronically ready for client review

Complete lodgements via the ATO portal and other lodgement programs as required

Verbal and written correspondence with ATO organising lodgement deferrals – any other matters

Maintain lodgement lists ensuring managers remain informed on any upcoming deadlines

Month end billing, including raising invoices, write offs and distributing invoices to clients

Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls for the team, screening calls and handling requests

Organising the back-end process of weekly training for 20-40 people

Ability to multi-task and prioritize urgent tasks

Ability to work directly with senior staff

Initiative and ability to work independently

Resilient and able to maintain composure when under pressure
