Assist in preparing accurate Annual Financial Statements and Standard Statements in line with legislative requirements.
Perform general ledger and bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
Process and manage financial transactions and registers, including credit cards, councillor expenses, grants, investments, and fixed assets.
Prepare and submit key financial reports, such as Business Activity Statements, Fringe Benefits Tax returns, and Taxable Payments Annual Reports.
Provide financial advice and support to staff, including guidance on the General Ledger and contributing to process improvements.
