With our Head Office and workshop based in Tamworth, we utilise the latest CNC machinery for repairing and resharpening a diverse range of sawblades, knives, drill bits and cutting tools.

The Role:

An opportunity now exists to join us as a Workshop Technician where you will operate various resharpening machines. This is a hands-on role, requiring an eye for detail, a can-do attitude and a genuine commitment to working with a small team. Previous experience operating machinery (especially a Metal Lathe) is desirable but FULL TRAINING will be provided.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Re-Sharpening of Industrial Sawblades and Cutting Knives
• Operation of CNC & NC Sharpening Machines
• Use of mechanical Sharpening and Grinding Machines
• Use of Engineering Machines including a Lathe & Mill Drill
• Maintaining a clean & tidy work area
• Regular maintenance of machinery

To be successful for this role you must have the following:

• Basic understanding of tools and equipment (trade skills are not necessary)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Good presentation & communication
• The ability to work independently and also as part of a team
