Private residence in the Southern Highlands.

Full time hours - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. And Some weekends.

Looking for a reliable, experienced, long-term housekeeper to assist with the daily maintenance of our home. The Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring the property is kept in pristine condition by maintaining the interior to an exceptional level as well as performing daily farm hand duties.

The property houses a number of farm animals (Hobby Farm) that require maintenance and monitoring including a number of household dogs. The ideal candidate will not only require a passion for animals but also previous experience handling animals.

Household Duties will include:

Organising laundry, including washing, drying and ironing.

General cleaning of the entire house, including bathrooms and kitchen.

Changing linen.

Vacuuming and mopping floors.

Preparing evening meals is desirable but not essential.

Coordinating trades personnel and gardeners as required.

Maintain gardens and lawns as required.

Proving additional family support when required, such as picking up groceries or running errands.

House sitting

Pet and Farm Duties will include:

Daily reporting of livestock health and welfare checks.

Handling animals as required including horses, alpacas, and more.

Assisting with veterinarian visits as required.

Daily cleaning and maintenance of paddocks and pens.

Monitoring water troughs and cleaning as required.

Maintaining livestock feeds and ordering as required.

Daily interactions with household dogs.

Mowing and Gardening skills essential.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Previous experience in housekeeping.

Confident in animal and livestock handling skills and ability.

Experience with dogs.

Ability to identify ill or injured livestock and treat and or act accordingly.

Be confident, capable and discrete.

Be meticulous and have a strong work ethic.

Excellent time management.

Ability to work a schedule that may include evenings and overnight stays, as well as house sit whilst owners are travelling.

Must be willing to undertake an Australian Police Check.

Valid and current Car license.

Willing to work flexible and extended hours as required (Essential).
