About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Draftsman to join our team at Engineering On Demand in Booragoon, Western Australia. This is a part-time position where you will play a crucial role in our architectural design and drafting process, contributing to the delivery of high-quality projects.

The role is initially part-time but will lead to full-time as workload permits.

What you'll be doing

Preparing detailed architectural drawings and plans using CAD software

Assisting with the development of design concepts and incorporating client feedback

Collaborating with the design team to ensure drawings adhere to relevant building codes and standards

Providing technical support and advice to other team members throughout the design and documentation process

Maintaining accurate records and project documentation

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our design and drafting processes

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in architectural drafting or a related field

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar architectural drafting role

Proficient in the use of AutoCAD software

Strong technical skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Understanding of building codes, regulations and design standards
