COLLECTIONS OFFICER- OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FROM HOME!

We are currently looking for experienced Collection Officers to join our growing Team. The Collections Officer is responsible to achieve a monthly cash collections target, manage a portfolio of aged debts and meet company KPI’S. Role requires candidate to actively make outbound collections calls, send emails, contact third parties and to develop strong and effective relationships with debtors to recover the debts.

The Role:

• Conduct outbound and inbound collection calls
• Conduct investigations and skip tracing to locate customers
• Take end to end accountability for the portfolio assigned
• Achieve and exceed individual and team targets
• Successfully identify customers experiencing financial hardship
• Understand and comply with all regulatory requirements (debt collection guidelines) and quality standards
• Attention to detail and integrity
• Maintaining company standards for account actioning, productivity and delivering results
• Maximise recoveries, minimise the associated expense and time on each account
• Negotiate recovery of the debt and determine action within delegated limit

About you:

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills - superior phone manner and interpersonal skills
• Be an active participant in a team-based environment
• Previous experience in a high volume and professional collections environment
• Passionate about own success – KPI’s driven and Goal orientated
• Highly motivated and willingness to learn
• Ability to build strong relationships/ rapport, adapt to changing needs and priorities, and determine appropriate collection steps to gain a 'win/win' solution for both parties.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and legislation
