Full Time – 12 month contract

Role Description

As a Technical Writer, you will play a key role in planning, designing and maintaining technical documentation and assist with workflow planning. You will collaborate with cross- functional teams to enhance frameworks, tools, scheduling work items and integrating new features.

Essentials

Strong writing and communication skills, with an understanding of systems, frameworks, and processes.

Proficiency in Markdown for creating and maintaining documentation.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.

Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.

Strong teaching or team-leading skills in supporting upskilling and new initiatives.

Desired Experience

Experience in technical writing and documentation management

Ability to decipher development work and estimate project requirements

Understand UI/UX principles for technical applications

Basic programming knowledge (eg, HTML5, JavaScript)

Exposure to industrial applications or relevant domain knowledge in resources, oil & gas, or utilities sectors.

This role involves problem-solving, and strong attention to detail to ensure high quality development and documentation. You will need adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities.
