Our banking client is seeking 2 experienced Technical Writers to join their team for a 6-month contract. This role will focus on supporting a collections project, ensuring the creation of clear, concise, and user-focused documentation. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with 3 days in the Sydney office and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including policies, procedures, forms, and templates related to the collections project.
• Review and enhance existing documentation guidelines to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to governance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts, to gather information and produce high-quality content.
• Create templates that reflect best practices for policy and procedure writing.
• Engage with stakeholders for feedback on proposed changes and implement revisions accordingly.
• Manage documentation timelines and deliverables within project cycles.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, Procedure Writer
• Strong understanding of best practices for policy and procedure documentation.
• Proficiency in tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe lifecycle.
• Exceptional written communication skills with a focus on simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Financial services experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Previous experience in Banking or Collections highly regarded
