As the ICT Specialist, you will be the go-to person for all things tech, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems across the organisation. This standalone role requires a proactive and hands on approach, covering everything from troubleshooting day-to-day issues, to implementing IT security measures and leading key projects. You will have the autonomy to shape IT solutions, drive efficiency, and ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software, and cloud-based systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, thinking outside of the box, and is eager to help shape the future of IT within a growing organisation.

Key responsibilities include;

Provide IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues across the organisation

Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks and cloud-based systems

Implement and monitor IT security measures to protect company data and systems

Plan and execute IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, process automations and new solutions

Maintain and update IT documentation

Set up and configure new hardware and software for employees

Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls across various systems

Train and upskill employees on IT best practice and new technologies

Monitor systems performance

Research and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and security

Technical Skills required:

A degree in IT or equivalent experience

2 - 3 years of hands-on IT support experience

Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networks

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Azure

Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Management tools (EntraID, InTune, Defender, Exchange Online Management)

Experience managing and implementing IT projects (system upgrades, migrations, process automation)

Understanding of IT security best practices and disaster recovery planning

Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and networking

Experience with system backups, monitoring, and IT documentation
