Modern Workplace Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Modern Workplace Specialist to join a growing Project Services team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about deploying and managing cutting-edge Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions. You will be responsible for delivering projects to a diverse client base across the health, education, government, and resources sectors. We are open to candidates of all experience levels who possess strong core skills and a drive to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions using Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/ConfigMgr) and Intune.
  • Configure and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
  • Provide expertise in other Microsoft 365 services, including but not limited to Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange.
  • Deliver projects to clients in the health, education, government, and resources sectors, ensuring high-quality and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Modern Workplace deployments.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for deployments and configurations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies and best practices.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/ConfigMgr) and Intune is essential.
  • Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with other Microsoft 365 services is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience delivering projects to external clients.
  • Industry experience in health, education, government, or resources sectors.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience with Powershell scripting.
