Description of Role
• Work at a wide variety of work locations throughout Brisbane & surrounding areas

To get you started on the team we require the following -
• Must have completed Commercial cookery certificate III or higher
• Must have at least 5 years post apprenticeship experience
• Must have/obtain Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Current NDIS Check (Required to be able to work in aged care) or Police Check (specifying Unsupervised with Vulnerable People)
Your own uniforms & knives
• Access to reliable transport

Chefs On The Run finds work for Experienced Chefs, Cooks, Catering Assistants, Kitchen hands and Waiters.
For more than 30 years we have been building strong relationships with thousands of clients in all areas of hospitality, tourism & catering. We currently have work on offer in Hospitality venues including Hotels, Pubs, Restaurants, Resorts and with Caterers - both large & small. We also have a lot of opportunities with Aged Care & Health and Child Care clients and for those interested in big hours, with clients in the Mining & Industrial sector (predominantly FIFO).
We are a family-owned business and pride ourselves on taking a personal approach with all of our employees and contractors as well as our clients. You’ll get to know all the members of our friendly Operations team – and we will get to know you! and your preferences and requirements too. Chefs on the Run Australia Pty Ltd was established in January 1990 to provide the Hospitality & Catering Industry with a dependable source of casual, temporary and emergency personnel.
The founders, Stephen Scrogings and Simon Bailey, believed that the Industry needed to be able to source properly trained professionals on short notice. Hospitality professionals who could walk in at a moment’s notice and provide the necessary skills to assist a site get through a shift, week or month when they needed support.
Chefs On The Run believes in looking after everyone with whom we come into contact. Whether you are a contracting or casual Chef, Waiter, Bar Attendant or Catering Assistant, or the owner or operator of a site or venue, we’re here to look after you. All of our people have a Hospitality & Catering background and we know exactly what it is you do for a living and what you have to do to stay in business.
