Our client, a leading distributor of air conditioning products and solutions across the country has an opening for a full time “Hands On’ Branch Supervisor for their operation in Western Sydney. Their large distribution network is completely focused on supporting tradespeople servicing the heating, ventilation and air conditioning across all industry sectors.

Primary Duties

• Train and develop branch employees
• Supervise the planning and layout of the facility
• Assist with counter sales; coordination of receipt; despatch and storage of goods
• Collaborate with managers on operational matters
• Evaluate performance of staff, provide feedback and support further development
• Provide exceptional customer service to all clients
• Ensure all vehicle maintenance is completed in line with manufacturer’s instructions.

Attributes / Skills required

• Technical or tertiary experience desirable - Design background also desirable
• Proven experience in a similar role / sector – Leadership role
• Excellent communication skills and rapport building abilities
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills – customer value proposition
• Excellent planning, organising and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail / accuracy / numeracy
• Position is physically demanding
