We are looking for someone to join our friendly and supportive team environment as a Casual employee up to 25 hours a week plus holiday cover in our practice at Herston.

Hours of work are between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday and this may vary week to week.

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role, be highly organised with meticulous attention to detail. You will need to be able to multi-task and successfully follow through with all aspects of this.

Remuneration is under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award based on age and experience and above award for the right candidate.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

Good working knowledge of Genie Practice Management

Patient billing, receipting and EFTPOS operation.

Welcoming patients into the practice in a friendly, professional and courteous manner

Answering phones, making appointments etc

General administration

Ensuring the smooth day to day running of the practice

Medical typing

You will bring the following attributes:

Professional, patient and courteous manner

Well presented, punctual and professional

Strong telephone and computer skills

Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritise workflow

Ability to work independently as a sole receptionist and as part of a medical team
