About the role

Redbank Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. This is a casual role, providing essential front-line support to our medical practitioners and patients at our clinic located in Redbank, QLD.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming patients upon arrival, and ensuring a positive patient experience
• Efficiently managing patient bookings, including scheduling appointments and handling enquiries
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient information
• Assisting with administrative tasks such as invoicing, data entry, and general office duties
• Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient queries or concerns
• Maintaining a professional and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar customer service role within a healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, doctors, and staff
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• Proficient in using medical software and computer systems, experience with Best Practice or Medical Director is MUST
• A warm, friendly, and professional demeanour
• A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Job Type: Casual

Schedule: 8 hour shift

A minimum of 1 year Medical Administration experience is essential. Experience in General Practice is preferred.

Candidates with no Medical Administration experience will not be considered.
