Studio Black Head Spa is an exciting, brand-new beauty salon set to open soon, offering top-tier services in a luxurious environment. We specialize in head massages and scalp care. As we prepare for our grand opening, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team, assist in staff selection and training, and ensure seamless daily operations.

Job Overview:

As the Salon Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful launch of our new premises. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing the team, as well as overseeing day-to-day operations. Your role will also include staff scheduling, handling time-off requests, managing breaks, and addressing client concerns to maintain the highest service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Recruitment & Training: Assist in hiring the salon team and provide initial and ongoing training to ensure high service standards.

Team Management: Supervise staff, provide leadership, and foster a positive, professional work environment.

Scheduling & Roster Management: Plan and adjust staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while accommodating time-off requests.

Break & Time-Off Coordination: Manage and approve staff breaks and time-off requests in compliance with labor laws.

Customer Service: Act as the main point of contact for client concerns, resolving issues professionally and efficiently.

Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth daily operations and maintain high-quality service.

Communication: Serve as a liaison between staff and management to ensure clear communication and team alignment.

Salon Standards & Policies: Enforce company policies, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.

Client Relations: Build strong relationships with clients to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

Work Schedule & Benefits:

Full-Time Position (Monday to Friday)

The salon operates 7 days a week, but this role is strictly Monday to Friday

Commission available based on performance

Requirements:

Previous experience in a salon, spa, or retail management role preferred.

Experience in staff recruitment and training is a plus.

Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism and diplomacy.

Familiarity with salon booking and scheduling software is a plus.
