Aesthetica is a skin clinic specialising in Corneotherapy in the beautiful Byron Bay. We are looking for an experienced Dermal Therapist (with Dermaviduals experience being highly regarded). This is a rare opportunity to welcome a fresh therapist to join our Aestheticá family. Our clients are very special to us, as is our working environment & team mentality - we are looking for the perfect fit. You’ll be working alongside an extremely passionate team who thrive on instilling confidence in their clients and managing a wide array of skin concerns. Expectations are high - you’ll be working in a professional environment with daily challenges and lots of education & professional growth. You’ll have our teams support 100% of the way with ongoing training in Corneotherapy using our beloved Dermaviduals.

Qualifications & experience

Cert III or higher Dermal Science / Beauty Therapy (or equivalent)

Minimum of 4 year of Dermal Clinician experience in creating and implementing personalised skin treatment programs. A sound knowledge of Dermaviduals skin care range highly regarded but not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate.

Experience with Exceed skin needling device and Observ Advanced Skin Analysis equipment highly regarded but not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and proven problem-solving skills

Committed to ongoing professional and personal development within the business

Management/ co-ordinator experience highly regarded.

Tasks & responsibilities

Provide bespoke skin and facial treatments using extensive Dermaviduals product knowledge to tailor treatments to each individual client.

Perform basic lash and Brow treatments.

Provide visual skin consultations or in-depth skin consultations using the Observ Skin Analysis machine and implement Dermaviduals prescription based, skin care protocols for clients with ongoing maintenance and care.

Perform treatments such as Exceed skin needling, plaxpot skin rejuvenation.

Keep detailed records of clients notes and prescriptions for future reference.

Assisting reception & Medical side of clinic.

Co- ordinating team and client management.

Capability to manage or assist a thriving business & team.
