We are looking for a highly experienced Revit Technician to join our rapidly expanding team delivering large-scale transport infrastructure projects across Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.

Working within a collaborative team of Wayfinding, Graphic, UX and Industrial Designers, this role will support the Revit and BIM requirements of small to large scale projects involving industrial design, signage and wayfinding, and architectural kit of parts. The successful candidate will be based in Sydney or Melbourne, and be supported by team members across all of our offices.

Please note that this is a 3-month contract position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.

Responsibilities

– BIM assets creation and modelling to project LOD requirements

– Revit drawing production to required project and company standards

– Monitoring, maintaining and ensuring quality of various project models

– Liaising and coordination with architectural, engineering and other design disciplines

– BIM coordination and clash detection/resolution – Assist in the development of company BIM workflow, standards and procedures

– Support the template file management and development of content libraries

– Support BIM integration across all Maynard studios

– Assistance with other design-related tasks as required

Reporting

Reports directly to the Senior Designer and/or Project Lead, depending on project requirements.

Skills and Experience

– 3+ years of experience as a BIM Modeller

– Experience in collaborating with diverse project teams, including designers, architects and engineers

– Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Digital Design or similar degree within the built environment

– Highly skilled and experienced using Revit and other Autodesk design authoring products

– Proficient in drafting technical drawing packages using revit

– Good working knowledge of other modelling tools such as SolidWorks and Rhino

– Practical knowledge of rendering tools such as Enscape and Keyshot

– Good working knowledge of BIM 360 work-shared models, document management and design collaboration

– Confident in using BIM collaboration platforms such as Navisworks and Revizto will be advantageous

– Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) will be advantageous

– Familiarity in using scripting tools such as Dynamo and Grasshopper will be highly advantageous
