About the role

We are looking for an accomplished Bar Manager to join our team. Reporting to a seasoned Restaurant Manager, this role is highly visible and requires someone who thrives managing a busy bar environment.

Responsibilities include:

· Lead and manage bar staff through all service periods

· Coach and train staff in leading practices, procedures and our company policies

· Beverage menu development and training

· Build and share knowledge in craft beers, wines, beverages, cocktails & cellaring

· Produce high quality beverages and take genuine pride in the product

· Keeping all beverage costs within the desired targets

· Bar stock management

What we need:

· Demonstrated strong communication and organisation skills, underpinned by a commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience.

· Experience managing a busy bar, suppliers, ordering and stock control

· Cocktail knowledge and experience creating cocktail lists

· Wine knowledge advantageous

· A naturally friendly and engaging personality

· Initiative and excellent communication skills

· Impeccable presentation and an ability to connect with people

· Skilled at point-of-sale reporting

· Experience in staff rostering

· Experience in staff training

RSA essential - RMLV & Approved Managers licence advantageous

We are seeking someone who goes the extra mile to provide a memorable guest experience with the ability to multitask, work under pressure and think on your feet to quickly resolve issues. Demonstrated strong experience leading large and busy restaurants is essential.
