The Role
We’re looking for a capable, guest-focused Duty Manager to help lead daily operations and champion unforgettable experiences. Reporting directly to our Hotel Manager and working closely with the owners, you’ll be part of a small, passionate leadership team that values attention to detail, initiative, and authentic hospitality.

You’ll be trusted to run shifts with autonomy, solve problems with care, and support the team in delivering seamless service that leaves a lasting impression.

Your Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations during your shifts

Support and guide team members across departments (front office, housekeeping, F&B)

Ensure every guest feels welcomed, recognised and well looked after

Respond to guest needs and feedback with empathy and professionalism

Work closely with the Hotel Manager and ownership team to continually elevate the guest experience

Uphold operational excellence, presentation standards and brand values

What You’ll Bring

Previous leadership experience in hotels or high-end hospitality

A genuine love for guest service and boutique hotel environments

Calm problem-solving skills and a hands-on, can-do approach

Strong communication and time management

Confidence working both independently and as part of a tight-knit team

Familiarity with hotel systems (RMS a plus)

Bonus: strong local knowledge of Melbourne’s culture, food and design scene
