About the role

Accelerate Constructions Services' is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our dynamic team in Balcatta, Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.

What you'll be doing

Scoping jobs and organising the necessary materials ready for trades prior to commencing works

Sourcing the correct materials and delivering to site ready for trades

Overseeing all aspects of construction projects, including liaising with operations manager when it comes to scheduling, and coordinating subcontractors

This role requires a high attention to details and overseeing of quality assurance with trade work.

Preparing detailed cost estimates, bid proposals, and project budgets

Monitoring project progress and identifying potential issues, implementing corrective actions as needed

Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction

Leading and motivating project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project success

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing operational efficiencies

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a project management or estimating role within the construction industry

It is preferable if you are coming from a trade background, very beneficial if you are a carpenter

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Good team working skills with emphasis on being a team player

Strong budgeting and financial management skills

Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools

Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and drawings

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Relevant qualifications in project management, construction management, or a related field
