East Gosford Physio is a medium sized friendly Physio practice that has been established for 30 years.

We have a variety of programs aimed at helping people with their pain and chronic disease and have recently opened a second practice in Oncology Physio and rehabilitation. We have an enthusiastic professional staff who love to help their patients and the admin staff have a very important role in this culture of helping people.

An exciting casual role exists for a like minded, enthusiastic Physio Receptionist/administrative assistant .

The position is for approximately 10-15 hours per week with the expectation of occasionally taking on extra hours to cover other staff sick leave and holiday leave (if required.) The present role is over 2 separate days ( we are looking at Monday and Thursday) and there is a requirement to be available between 8 am and 6.30pm. You will be working with a team of receptionists to provide a pleasant front desk experience to our lovely patients. Although this present job being offered has limited regular hours, we are a growing practice and there will be opportunities in the future for more hours, if this is desirable.

Requirements:

- Previous front desk medical or allied health reception experience is ESSENTIAL

- Comprehensive computer, typing and IT skills

- Competency with MS word, Excel and Outlook

- Outstanding communication and customer service skills

- Be positive, cheerful and friendly with a "can do" attitude

- Be open to learn and take instruction and responsibility

- Be able to work independently and in a team

- To be a multi-tasker with attention to detail

- Great phone manner

- Be available up until 6.30pm and be flexible with hours

This role involves a variety of admin, typing and reception duties with a high level of Customer Service, in a friendly reception and physio team , where the practice principal really appreciates the importance of the input from the reception team.

The applicant must be able to work in this team and be flexible with hours, and ideally be available to cover other staff at short notice.
